Pleasant, moderately priced, and common Chianti that paired well with deep-dish pizza.

A decent selection from Air Canada, although not primarily memorable.

This wine is remarkably light, even for a Chianti. It lacks strength and complexity, and I find it to be quite flavorless overall.

This Castello di Querceto Chianti Classico Riserva offers a delicious aroma of ripe cherries, plums, and spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with soft tannins and juicy acidity. The flavors of ripe berries and cherries are balanced by hints of vanilla and forest floor. The finish is long and lingering, with nuances of sweet spice and minerals. Enjoy it with grilled meats, pasta dishes and aged cheese.
