Balanced seamlessness of suggestions and textures, with a rich, round texture that blankets the palate, and a light strength of flavor that stays long after the finish. The wine's subtle freshness and tannins provide a enjoyable structure, and yet the oak and earthy touches add layers and nuance. The ending is long and satisfying, with a delicate trace of spice and a smooth, polished finish.

Castello di Monsanto Chianti Classico Riserva is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with layers of cherry, raspberry, and earthy undertones. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and balanced acidity, others find it lacking in complexity. The wine's oak and forest floor notes add depth, making it a versatile choice for pairing with Italian dishes. Overall, a well-regarded wine with a satisfying finish.
This Castello di Monsanto Chianti Classico Riserva is an elegant and refined expression of Sangiovese, a variety of red grape native to central Italy. Its nose is filled with aromas of ripe cherries and plums, accompanied by subtle hints of forest floor and nutmeg. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and well-structured, with a pleasant acidity that keeps it fresh and vibrant. The tannins are quite soft and round, leading to a long and flavorful finish. Overall, this is an excellent example of a classic Tuscan red, with all the expected characteristics. Enjoy it with a variety of dishes, from richer pasta dishes to grilled meats and vegetables.
