WINE DESCRIPTION
Cantine Russo Rampante Rosso is produced on the volcanic island of Sicily located off the southern coast of Italy. The vineyards are located at over 2000 feet above sea level on the north east slope of Etna. The wine is a predominant blend of Nerello Mascalese with a touch of Nerello Cappuccio. Wines are matured for around 24 months in a combination of stainless steel and oak barrels followed by a further 8-10 months in bottle prior to release.
