This rich, full-bodied red blend from Caduceus Winery is a showstopper. On the nose, Nagual de La Naga reveals deep, ripe aromas of black cherry, plum, and cassis with a hint of earthy spice. On the palate, the wine is rich and concentrated, with succulent dark fruit flavors and a long, velvety finish. This is an incredibly well-structured and balanced wine that will continue to develop complexity as it ages.

I was pleasantly surprised by this wine, despite not being a fan of Tool. The finesse and density of hints are impressive, with a rich, full-bodied smoothness and a range of deep fruit flavors, containing plum and blackberry. The earthy accents add complexity and nuance, even as the tannins provide a elegant grip. A well-crafted wine that is definitely worth trying, even for those who aren't fans of the band.

I highly recommend this 2012. It's a solid choice, but I had to give it a bit of time to mature. It wasn't as harmonious as the 2012. Overall, it's a decent wine.
Wabby Elberger
Luscious and sophisticated blend of leather, cherry, oak, and a touch of tobacco, with a understated kick of pepper, this wine is a true indulgence.

Caduceus Nagual de La Naga is praised for its rich, full-bodied flavors of cherry, plum, and blackberry, with smooth tannins and earthy undertones. While some find it well-balanced and elegant, others note occasional inconsistencies and a high price. The wine's complexity is enhanced by oak, leather, and forest floor notes, making it a sophisticated choice for enthusiasts.
