Buondonno Rosso is appreciated for its harmonious blend of Sangiovese and Syrah, offering cherry, cocoa, and savory notes. While some praise its complexity and value, others find it simple yet satisfying. The wine pairs well with various foods and features a medium body with a dry finish. Opinions vary on its depth, with some noting a lack of complexity.
Buondonno Rosso offers a captivating bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by subtle hints of dried herbs and earthy undertones. These aromas intertwine harmoniously, creating an inviting olfactory profile. The palate of Buondonno Rosso is equally impressive, with a medium-bodied structure that is both elegant and well-balanced. The vibrant acidity adds a refreshing touch, while the silky tannins provide a smooth and velvety texture. Flavors of red berries persist, accompanied by notes of black tea and a touch of balsamic, adding depth and complexity to the wine. The finish of Buondonno Rosso is long and satisfying, leaving a lingering impression of fruit and spice on the palate.
