Yamakage Hodgins
Decent Merlot, but hardly exceptional. Its colour is a dull medium purple, and its floral notes is a lackluster mix of stale summer fruit compote, fading fruit notes, and spices, with a muddy and mineral undertone. The impression is unremarkable, with a lack of acidity, worn-out tannins, and a somewhat one-dimensional flavour profile, but still drinkable. The close is gentle, with strawberry, blackberry, and herbal notes, but the in summary impact is one of unmemorable Merlot. A solid, but unremarkable wine.
