The nose is defined by by a rich, fruity aroma, with suggestions of wood and a gentle earthy undertone. The front of the nose is centered around by a peppery, herbal note, and yet the back of the nose reveals a complex, umami flavor profile featuring unripe plum and a tart cherry finish. The trail is long and dry, with a lingering graphite note.
Birl
Decent, if not distinctly exceptional, wine with a notable earthy and funk undertone, somewhat tempered by a whisper of red fruit and minerality on the finish.
Laia
Straightforward Pinot nose with a light red fruit palate, this wine is a far cry from the New Zealand Pinot I was expecting.

Boya Pinot Noir offers a mix of earthy and fruity flavors, with notes of red fruit, cherry, and a hint of minerality. While some appreciate its smooth texture and balance, others find it unremarkable. The wine is often praised for its value and easy-drinking nature, though it may lack complexity for some palates. Overall, it's a decent choice for casual occasions.
