Debard
Intricate and layered wine with a rich, full-bodied consistency that unfolds with a subtle blend of savory and umami notes. The mouthfeel is noted for by a harmonious harmony of opaque fruit, oak char, and peppercorn, all of which are expertly integrated to create a elegant and polished finish.
Ewn
Rich, full-bodied Syrah with a dark, soft appearance. The nose is shaped by by deep fruit, leather, and a nuance of spice, with a elegant note of rosemary. The palate is dry and concentrated, with a focus on fruit and oak. The linger is long and satisfying, with whispers of vanilla and anise.
Nausicaa
The wine has a certain level of rigidity. It was held back and didn't fully integrate. The tannins are controlled and the crispness is balanced. The flavor profile is complex, with tones of pepper and ripe black fruit, as well as some accents of blue fruit. and yet it shows promise, it could benefit from further refinement. Aeration or extended bottle aging might be beneficial in unlocking its full potential. Return.

Bien Nacido Vineyards The XO Reserve Syrah is praised for its rich, full-bodied nature and complex flavor profile. Many appreciate its dark fruit, oak, and spice notes, with some highlighting its elegant finish. While some find it well-integrated and polished, others feel it could benefit from further aging to unlock its full potential. The wine's tannins are generally controlled, and it pairs well with hearty dishes.
This Syrah from Bien Nacido Vineyards presents a deep garnet hue, revealing an intricate bouquet of blackcurrant, cracked black pepper, and violets, underscored by hints of smoked meat and dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and impeccably structured, with velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that provides lift and balance. Layers of blackberry compote and olive tapenade unfold, leading to a long, savory finish with whispers of graphite and anise. This wine exemplifies the elegance and power of cool-climate California Syrah, offering both immediate pleasure and potential for graceful aging.
