The Azara Carmenere presents a deep garnet hue, indicative of its rich extraction. On the nose, it unfurls layers of blackcurrant and dark plum, underscored by hints of green pepper and subtle graphite. The palate is robust and full-bodied, showcasing a harmonious interplay of ripe black fruits and a savory herbaceous character, balanced by well-integrated oak nuances. Its fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity provide a structured backbone, leading to a lingering finish with a whisper of dark chocolate and earthy minerality. This Carmenere exemplifies the varietal's potential in delivering complexity and depth, making it a noteworthy expression of its terroir.

Azara Carmenere originates from the sun-drenched vineyards of Chile's Central Valley, where the warm climate and cooling breezes from the Andes create an ideal environment for this late-ripening grape. This wine is crafted with precision, undergoing a period of maceration to enhance its deep color and rich flavor profile. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the vibrant fruit characteristics, followed by aging in French oak barrels to impart subtle spice and structure. The result is a medium-bodied wine with notes of dark berries and a smooth, balanced finish, suitable for immediate enjoyment or short-term cellaring.
