Artesana Tannat is praised for its dense fruit, earthy hints, and affordability. Many enjoy its full-bodied, decadent profile with notes of blackberry, plum, and fig. While some appreciate its well-balanced tannins and complex spice, others find it lacks the style of other Tannats. The wine's finish is often described as long and flinty, with a smooth texture that satisfies many palates.
Artesana Tannat delivers intense aromas of dark berries, plum, and hints of spice, balanced by firm tannins and a velvety texture. On the palate, layers of ripe fruit and subtle oak lead to a lingering, harmonious finish. Its robust structure makes it an ideal partner for grilled lamb, hearty beef stews, or barbecued ribs. For a vegetarian pairing, try it with roasted portobello mushrooms or rich lentil dishes. Decanting is recommended to enhance its flavors, and it can age gracefully for up to a decade, rewarding those who wait.
