Satrape
Decent wine, with a good quality, that is
Bajasam Crivelle
Wine with a certain... character, but not one that extends long enough to be truly memorable. Its brightness and tannins are certainly intense, but they seem to dissipate quickly, leaving a light, almost ethereal quality. The color is a pale, washed-out red, and the body is surprisingly light, but the suggestions are a jarring mix of red fruit, minerals, cheese, cranberry, and blackcurrant, all clashing in a way that's both fascinating and overwhelming.
Hwayong
Sophisticated nose with red cherry and earthy undertones, polished by baking spices, but a high zest level detracted from the ultimately experience. The tannins were medium-coarse, and the fruitiness was subtle. Aeration did little to alleviate the acidity, and the wine's structure didn't improve with time. whereas it might have paired well with pizza on Day #2, it ultimately fell short. I would recommend this wine for those desiring a more acidic, fruit-forward style, but it may not be the best fit for those desiring a smoother, more balanced wine.

Argatia Haroula Red is noted for its bright acidity and intense tannins, though some find these qualities dissipate quickly. While some appreciate its red fruit and earthy undertones, others find the flavors clash. The wine's light body and pale color are consistent points of mention. It may appeal to those who enjoy a more acidic, fruit-forward style, but not to those seeking balance.
The Argatia Haroula Red presents a deep ruby hue, indicative of its robust character. On the nose, it unfurls a bouquet of ripe blackberries and plums, intertwined with subtle notes of dried herbs and a whisper of black pepper. The palate is medium-bodied, showcasing a harmonious balance of vibrant acidity and well-integrated tannins, which provide a firm structure. Flavors of dark fruit are complemented by hints of forest floor and a touch of earthy minerality, leading to a lingering, elegant finish. This wine exemplifies the potential of Greek reds, offering both complexity and approachability.
