WINE DESCRIPTION
This highly aromatic white wine from Antonutti is produced using the Traminer Aromatico variety, known more commonly as Gewurztraminer. The grapes are sourced from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, grown in on an alluvial and pebbly plain, in the west of the region. Grapes are destemmed and undergo a cold maceration for a short period before being gently pressed. The juice is transferred to temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for the fermentation. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for around 6 months with frequent bâtonnage (lees stirring) prior to bottling to increase texture.

Antonutti Traminer Aromatico is hugely expressive, with pronounced floral notes of rose petals, honeysuckle and orange blossom.These fragrant aromas are complemented by layers of lychee, tropical fruits, and a touch of spice. On the palate, the wine has a medium body and a rich, oily texture. The flavors are opulent and heady, dominated by ripe tropical fruits and notes of spice that are balanced by soft acidity.
