What the web is saying

Antinori Pèppoli Chianti Classico is praised for its rich cherry and red fruit flavors, balanced tannins, and smooth finish. While some appreciate its earthy and spicy notes, others find it lacks complexity. It pairs well with Italian dishes like pasta and pizza, offering a versatile and enjoyable drinking experience. However, a few reviews mention a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Voss Experts4.5

This Antinori Pèppoli Chianti Classico is a classic, well balanced Italian red wine with a deep ruby color and aromas of ripe cherries and violets. On the palate, the wine is round and full-bodied, with notes of ripe cherries and plums, hints of forest floor and leather, and a long, savory finish. It is an excellent pairing for grilled meats and savory dishes.
