Urlar

Urlar is a certified-organic, single-estate winery in Gladstone, Wairarapa, New Zealand. It became fully BioGro certified in 2010. Aaron serves as its Head Winemaker.

The estate's 31-hectare vineyard lies on ancient, free-draining soils and has more than 100,000 vines. Biodynamic preparations 500, 501 and CPP are applied annually in the vineyard, while the estate's own Highland cow herd supplies manure for composting. Its wines include Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and other cool-climate wines produced from the estate vineyard, with the 2022 Pinot Noir identified as its flagship wine.
