Possa was founded in 2004, when founder Samuele Heydi Bonanini decided to restore vineyards in Riomaggiore. The winery's initial production was only a few hundred bottles.

Vigneto Possa is a terraced vineyard system reaching from roughly 150 meters altitude down to the sea. Pruning, tying, leaf removal, thinning, and harvesting are all conducted by hand. Synthetic chemicals are avoided both in the vineyard and in the cellar, and steam is used for sanitation to reduce chemical cleaning products. The winery ferments and ages in wood (oak and other traditional woods), steel, and amphorae. Cellar work avoids heavy fining and uses restrained filtration if any.
On VinoVoss, Possa has 1 wine in stock: 1 white. Their average rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 11 ratings.
