Meinklang is a wine producer in Pamhagen, with the Michlits family comprising Anneliese and Werner Sr., Angela and Werner Jr., Johannes and Lukas.

The family aims to manage the farm as a living organism, inspired by Rudolf Steiner’s agricultural principles and Goethe’s understanding of nature. Its Demeter biodynamic farming brings agriculture, pasture and livestock into a closed cycle that supports natural humus formation. In the cellar, gravity across two floors reduces pumping, while wood, stainless steel and concrete vessels support the maturation of the wines. All its wines have been vegan since the 2004 vintage. Its approach embraces the possibility of exclusively spontaneous, natural fermentation, naturally initiated malolactic fermentation and wines vinified with greatly reduced sulfur or none.
