About Jeff Runquist
Jeff Runquist is a winery in Amador County founded by Jeff Runquist, who launched his label with the 1995 Massoni Ranch Zinfandel after eighteen years of making wine for others. In 2006, he purchased a five-acre walnut orchard in Amador County, and the winery's tasting room opened in spring 2008. A larger production facility followed in 2010, with a second completed in 2013.
The winery purchases 87% of its grapes and partners with growers who decide when to harvest for flavor, color and character. It produces wines from the Sierra Foothills, Napa Valley and Paso Robles. Its wines include Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Barbera and Petit Verdot.
