Giacometti

The Giacometti estate was founded in 1987 with the acquisition of the property by Laurent Giacometti and his son, Christian. Later, in 1997, Christian Giacometti took over the estate with his wife Corinne, who manages administration. The estate is situated in Casta, in the commune de Santa Pietro di Tenda, in the heart of the Agriate desert in Corsica. Unlike Patrimonio's clay-limestone soil, the Casta terroir features granitic soil. The estate's vineyards include 16 hectares of Niellucciu, 4.3 hectares of Sciacarellu, and 4.6 hectares of Vermentinu; in addition to these grape varieties, the estate also cultivates 1.15 hectares of Grenache and 0.25 hectares of Syrah.
