Domaine de Baal was founded by winemaker Sébastien Khoury, who started building the cellar after spending many years in Saint Emilion. The first plantations began in 1994, and the first vintage was in 2006. Located at 1200 meters high on the slopes of the Mount-Lebanon mountains, facing the Bekaa Valley, the estate features limestone and clay soils and practices organic farming with respect for the life cycles of the soil and vineyard. The building has one-meter thick walls and green roofs covered with soil and plants to provide conditions for winemaking and maturation, while its vaulted oak barrel cellar is built halfway underground, maintaining temperatures of 13 to 16 ºC and 60 to 70% humidity year-round.
On VinoVoss, Domaine de Baal has 1 wine in stock: 1 red. Their average rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 24 ratings.
