About Château Vartely
Château Vartely is a winery with vineyards in Codru and Bugeac; wines under its brand appeared in 1996, and the company was founded in 2004. On 7 October 2023, Château Vartely received the Grand Prize as winery of the year at National Wine Day.
Its vineyards cover 550 hectares, and the grapes grown there go into more than 4.5 million bottles annually. The winery also promotes native grape varieties such as Fetească Regală, Fetească Neagră and Rară Neagră, both domestically and internationally.
