The origins of Château Tour de Pez date to the 17th century, when lands belonged to the abbey of Verteuil. A 1772 deed referred to the building as la maison de Lhériteyre. A Cru Bourgeois since 1838, the estate was renamed Château Tour de Pez in 1931 by the Soulard family. The Bouchara family acquired it in 1989, neighboring Château Lilian Ladouys later owned it for several years, and Vignobles de Larose acquired it in 2018. Harvesting has been entirely manual since 2019, done by 25 people over two weeks, followed by optical sorting. Introduced in 2020, cold pre-fermentation maceration uses double-walled truncated cone vats with chilled water circulation. Wine is aged 14 months in traditional oak barrels, 70% new and 30% second-use, from five to six cooperages.
