Cederberg is a winery on the farm Dwarsrivier in the Cederberg Wilderness Area, where the Nieuwoudt family moved in 1893. David Nieuwoudt's grandfather, Oom Pollie, and uncle, Oom Flippie, managed the farm until 1997, when David returned and took over from his uncle. David is the winery's owner and winemaker.

In this isolated, virus-free area with minimal disease, Cederberg farms sustainably with little to no chemical intervention. Its wines include the Five Generations range.
