Bodega Castillo de Monjardín was founded in 1988 by Víctor Del Villar Tolosa and his wife Sonia Olano De La Lama to continue family tradition. In the 1980s, the winery introduced Chardonnay in Navarra and used night harvesting and barrel fermentation for white wines.

The winery is located at the entrance of Villamayor de Monjardín at more than 600 meters altitude on the slopes of Mount Monjardín. The estate covers more than 500 hectares divided into 40% vineyards, 10% olive groves, and 50% cereal crops, and sustainable farming is practiced across nearly 500 hectares of family-owned vineyard, olive, and cereal crops, with a drip irrigation system used to optimize and reduce water consumption. Grapes grown are Chardonnay, Garnacha, Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet-Sauvignon. For winemaking, a 12-meter architectural elevation gradient allows gravity racking of wine, and there are nearly 2,000 barrels for wine aging.
On VinoVoss, Castillo de Monjardin has 1 wine in stock: 1 white. Their average rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 15 ratings.
