Boekenhoutskloof is a wine producer established in 1776. In 1993, its farm and homestead were bought and restored, and a new vineyard planting programme was established. Boekenhoutskloof’s managing partner and technical director, Marc Kent, is the driving force behind its brands and properties.

The vineyard planting programme includes Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Semillon and Viognier. Boekenhoutskloof is a Syrah specialist, and its wines include the Boekenhoutskloof range and The Chocolate Block, a Syrah-based blend. Conservation work includes removing invasive alien plants from the farm, while large parts of the mountain have been cleared of pine and gum trees. Together with Haut Espoir, Boekenhoutskloof is also a founder member of the Franschhoek Mountain Conservancy, which aims to improve neighbour cooperation, fire management and fynbos conservation in the valley.
On VinoVoss, Boekenhoutskloof has 3 wines in stock: 3 red. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 2,107 ratings.
