Turel
Profound and intriguing aroma, unlike anything I've encountered in my exploration of the world of wine. A delicate nuance of cherry liqueur is juxtaposed with a dominant earthiness, accompanied by a whisper of orange peel. A rich, concentrated purple core with a reddish tinge and a distinct red rim, accompanied by a medium level of alcohol. The tannins are surprisingly soft, though the pronounced zest provides a sense of length to the wine. The initial flavor profile is redcurrant, with a delicate wisp of vanilla, which gradually gives way to a deep interplay of clove oil and cough mixture. A wine that defies categorization, yet remains an enigmatic and captivating experience. A true curiosity, but one that may not resonate with my personal taste preferences.
