Founded in 1983, Willamette Valley Vineyards traces its origins to Oregon native Jim Bernau, who transformed an overgrown pioneer plum orchard in the Salem Hills into a Pinot Noir haven. Hand-watering his vines with 17 lengths of 75' garden hose, Bernau and a devoted community of wine enthusiasts were united by a commitment to crafting top-tier Pinot Noirs while maintaining environmental stewardship. In homage to these pioneers, a special Pinot Noir blend is created exclusively from the Willamette Valley, capturing the essence of their dedication and the region's viticultural excellence. This wine stands as a tribute to a legacy of quality and environmental responsibility.
