WINE DESCRIPTION
Vila Santa Reserva Tinto is a bold red wine from the Alantejo region of central Portugal. This wine is crafted from Aragonez, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet grapes grown in the warm inland climate that allows their thick skins to ripen. The grapes are cooled before production starts and the wine is racked early to avoid extracting harsher tannins. The wineis aged in a mix of used French and American oak for 12 months. The end result is a rich, ripe, and round wine with oak nuance. A perfect warm hig on a cold evening.

Vila Santa Reserva Tinto shows an opaque inky colour in the glass.The nose is full of baked black fruits. The black fruit continues to the palate where the wine is full bodied with refreshing acidity and ripe, velvety tannins. The finish is moderate but full of toast and coconut notes from oak. This is tailor made for slow cooked winter dishes, or the end of a long day. Drink within 5 years.
