WINE DESCRIPTION
Veritas Viognier is a highly aromatic, dry white wine produced from Monticello in the State of Virginia. The grapes are harvested by hand, destemmed and the skins are allowed to macerate with the juice to extract as many of flavor as possible. The wine undergoes a lengthy, cool fermentation in inert vessels to retain the intense aromatic profile of Viognier. After completing the fermentation, the wine is aged for 9 months in neutral oak barrels, resulting in a wine with a rich, oily texture and pronounced floral notes of jasmine and honeysuckle.

Veritas Viognier exhibits a medium straw color with golden hues.On the nose, the wine immediately leaps from the glass with enticing aromas of ripe peach, apricot, and tropical fruits, accompanied by floral notes of honeysuckle and jasmine. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with an oily texture and flavors of stone fruits, citrus, and a hint of spice. The acidity is well-balanced, providing contrast to the exotic spice and ripe tropical fruit, whilst the dry finish is marked by delicate floral notes.
