Tezza Amarone della Valpolicella is a robust and powerful red wine produced in the Valpolicella region located in Northeast Italy. The winemaking process involves a unique technique called 'appassimento', where the grapes are dried before fermentation, resulting in concentrated flavors of dried fruits. The Tezza Amarone della Valpolicella is characterized by its full-body, rich velvety texture, and a harmonious balance of dried fruit, spice, and oak. The wine is matured for around 60 months prior to its release.

Tezza Amarone della Valpolicella displays a deep purple color with heavy staining of the tears suggesting a wine of significant extraction and weight.The nose offers intense aromas of ripe dark fruits such as black cherry, plum, and blackcurrant, accompanied by hints of dried herbs, tobacco, dark chocolate shavings and a touch of vanilla from oak aging. The palate is full-bodied with elevated alcohol and velvety, with a luscious texture and well-integrated tannins. It has a very persistent finish, leaving a pleasant aftertaste of dark chocolate and spices.
