WINE DESCRIPTION
Terre del Barolo Gavi is a white wine produced by Terre del Barolo, a cooperative of over 300 members located in Castiglione Falletto, in the Cuneo province of Italy. The wine is made from the Cortese grape variety grown in the Gavi appellation. The vineyards are situated on hillsides with a mix of clay and limestone soils. The winemaking process involves gentle pressing of the grapes and fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the character of Cortese.

This Terre del Barolo Gavi DOCG is a crisp and refreshing white wine, that wafts from the glass with delicate aromas of pear and lemon zest that are complemented by floral notes and a hint of minerality.The palate is light-bodied and balanced, with steely acidity that lends freshness to the wine. Flavors of citrus zest reappear on the palate alongside chamomile, honeysuckle and almond milk. The finish is clean and fresh, but not massively concentrated or long.
