WINE DESCRIPTION
Tenute Sella Lessona is a Nebbiolo dominated blend sourced from old vineyards planted at high elevation in the historic hills
of Lessona, Piedmont. Grapes are harvested, destemmed and crushed before undergoing an alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with heavy and lengthy extraction to create a highly tannic, deeply colored wine. The wine is then matured for around 12 months in large Slavonian oak casks prior to bottling.

Tenute Sella Lessona has a pale ruby hue with slight bricking at the rim.The nose offers a captivating array of red fruits, such as cherries, tart red plum and raspberries, accompanied by subtle floral notes like rose petals. These aromas are complemented by hints of spice and earthiness. The palate is elegant, displaying a harmonious blend of ripe red fruits, including cranberries and plums, with a touch of pepper and a delicate herbal undertone. The tannins are assertive and grippy whilst the refreshing acidity contributes structure helping to frame the long finish.
