WINE DESCRIPTION

Taub Family Vineyards - Heritance Sauvignon Blanc is a tropical fruit driven white fermented in stainless steel. The grapes come from the Pestoni vineyard in Rutherford grown on alluvium-gravel soils that are free-draining and ensure the grapes achieve full ripeness. Rutherford bench soils are also planted with some Sauvignon Blanc Musque (an aromatic clone) giving the wine an added floral lift. A small proportion of Semillon is added to the blend which is aged in neutral oak for four months to give added complexity and richness.
