WINE DESCRIPTION
Spy Valley Envoy Johnson Sauvignon Blanc is a premium wine from Spy Valley, produced in the renowned Marlborough region of New Zealand. Sourced from the Johnson Vineyard in Waihopai Valley, the wine benefits from stony alluvial silt loam soils, which provide excellent drainage. It is fermented in a mix of 1200L and 225L oak barrels, undergoes full malolactic fermentation, and ages for almost a year, followed by extended full lees aging. The result is a Sauvignon Blanc that combines vibrant fruit character with rich secondary aromas from its élevage. Spy Valley, certified under the New Zealand Sustainable Winegrowing scheme, is committed to preserving the exceptional land that nurtures their vines.
