WINE DESCRIPTION
Speri La Roggia Recioto della Valpolicella Classico is sourced from a single south facing sloped vineyard. After harvest, the grapes are dried for around 4 months losing almost half of their initial weight. Following the drying process, the grapes are soft-pressed and fermented on the skins before being stopped to retain sweetness. The resulting sweet wine is aged in barrel for approximately 24 months, followed by bottle aging for one year prior to release.
