WINE DESCRIPTION

This Seghesio Dolcetto d'Alba comes from Monforte d’Alba, Piedmont located in Northwest Italy. The vineyards are planted at high elevation which helps offset the warm summers and slows ripening meaning that Dolcetto retains its freshness. The grapes are crushed and the wine is transferred to temperature-controlled fermenters to control the level of extraction and speed of fermentation. Maturation occurs in stainless steel for 10 months with the aim of allowing the bright fruit flavors to shine without being masked by oak flavors.
