WINE DESCRIPTION
San Valero La Cantera Cariñena Reserva is a Tempranillo and Garnacha blend from the region of Cariñena, located in the autonomous community of Aragon. The winemaking is overseen by Javier Domeque, Head Winemaker at Bodegas San Valero. He vinifies and matures the wine in barrel and bottle prior to release to develop aromas of vanilla, coconut cream and tobacco. This wine offers a fantastic alternative to Rioja, providing layers of dark fruit marked by oak aging.

The San Valero La Cantera Cariñena Reserva has a deep ruby color.The nose offers an enticing bouquet of ripe blackberries, cherries, and plums, accompanied by hints of vanilla and spice from oak aging. On the palate, it displays a harmonious balance between fruit and oak, with flavors of black fruits, such as blackberries and black cherries, intermingled with subtle notes of vanilla, tobacco, and coconut. The wine's well-integrated tannins provide a smooth and velvety texture, while its medium to full body gives it a satisfying weight on the palate.
