WINE DESCRIPTION
San Felice Ancherona Chardonnay Toscana is a barrel-fermented, dry white wine from Tuscany. The wine is made entirely from Chardonnay sourced from the Castelnuovo Berardenga area of Siena. The grapes are picked by hand, before being pressed which separates the skins from juice. The resulting must is transferred to small French oak barrels for the alcoholic fermentation to begin. Finally, the wine matures on its lees (decomposing yeast) for around 9 months in the barrels and a further 6 months in the bottle prior to its release.

The San Felice Ancherona Chardonnay Toscana has a brilliant medium golden appearance.On the nose, it offers alluring notes of ripe citrus and orchard fruits such as lemon, grapefruit alongside hints of apple and pear. The fruit aromas are accompanied by hints of yeastiness and a touch of vanilla. These aromas are beautifully complemented by subtle floral notes, adding an elegant and refreshing element to the wine. Upon tasting, it reveals a well-rounded and smooth mouthfeel with a pleasant zesty acidity that brings a lively and vibrant character to the wine.
