WINE DESCRIPTION
Roland Lavantureux Petit Chablis represents the entry-level Chablis, nevertheless this wine perfectly showcases Chardonnay grown in this unique terroir. This is the northernmost appellation of Burgundy and its marginal climate produces steely, mineral-driven wines. After harvesting, grapes are pressed and vinified in temperature controlled vats to retain the delicate flavors without imparting oak flavors. Maturation occurs in stainless steel tank to keep freshness and produce a wine with a beautiful balance of citrus, green apple and chalk flavors.
