WINE DESCRIPTION
Poderi Elia Padrun Langhe Nebbiolo is an artisanal expression of Piedmont's celebrated Nebbiolo, crafted by the respected Poderi Elia winery. Sourced from a single hectare of meticulously tended vines planted in 1982, this wine reflects its high-altitude, south-facing clay-limestone terroir at 450 meters above sea level. Each Nebbiolo grape undergoes a selective two-stage thinning process before being hand-harvested in mid-October. The wine is then fermented with an extended maceration period in stainless steel, followed by malolactic fermentation and 12 months of aging in both French and Slavonian oak barrels. Elegant and balanced, this Langhe Nebbiolo is a refined expression of tradition and terroir.
