WINE DESCRIPTION
The Peter Michael Le Caprice Pinot Noir is an exquisite wine that is a true expression of Sonoma Coast terroir. Le Caprice Estate Pinot is named for the Pinot Noir grape as a reference to its capricious and somewhat demanding disposition. Le Caprice embodies the challenge of growing this varietal well, and the ethereal and glorious elements that we strive to capture. This wine is made from grapes grown in the steepest of the Sonoma Coast vineyards, with a slightly eastern aspect and a resulting decrease in the cool maritime influences. Le Caprice is the most fruit-forward of the three estate Pinot Noirs.

This Peter Michael Le Caprice Pinot Noir is a sumptuous and vibrant red wine with aromas of dark cherry, raspberry and a hint of black pepper.On the palate, it is full-bodied and plush, with layers of ripe dark fruit flavors, earthy tannins and a long, smooth finish. Balanced and focused, it is a pleasure to drink now and will continue to develop complexity over time.
