WINE DESCRIPTION
Pagos del Moncayo is a Garnacha-Syrah blend from the Campo de Borja region located within Aragon, Spain. The vineyards are located on the hills of Sierra del Moncayo. The 7-hectare estate produces is planted to both Garnacha and Syrah. The grapes are harvested before undergoing a maceration and alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures. The wine completes the malolactic fermentation, a process used to stabilise the wine and soften the acidity in barrel, before being matured for approximately 12 months in a combination of French and American oak.

The palate of Pagos del Moncayo is rich and full-bodied, with a rounded texture that coats the mouth. The ripe fruit flavors continue to shine, framed by well-integrated tannins that provide structure and balance, whilst the acidity adds freshness to the wine.
