WINE DESCRIPTION
This Mâcon-Villages is produced by Nicolas Potel, a vigneron who also oversees production at Domaine and Maison Roche de Bellene. This Chardonnay comes from the Maconnais region in the south of Burgundy, known for giving riper, broader wines than some of the areas further north. The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, before undergoing a period of maturation in a combination of steel and neutral oak vessels, that contribute texture without imparting sweet oak spices.
