Wine Description:
The Morgante winery, rooted in five generations of viticultural expertise, was established in 1994 when Antonio Morgante, with sons Carmelo and Giovanni, decided to vinify their vineyard grapes. This marked the onset of a dedicated commitment to excellence using indigenous grapes and innovative approaches. In 1997, renowned winemaker Riccardo Cotarella joined the family. Situated in southern Sicily's pristine countryside, the winery spans 500 acres of vineyards and almond trees in an ideal viticultural setting. Located 1200-1800 feet above sea level, the region boasts a Mediterranean climate and diverse soils, ranging from clay and calcareous to marl.
