Montaribaldi Borzoni Barolo is a distinguished wine, crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the vines planted in 1980. Originating from the esteemed Barolo, this wine undergoes meticulous vinification. Post-harvest, grapes are destemmed, crushed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks for at least a week at 28-30°C. Following alcoholic fermentation, the wine remains on its lees at 20-22°C for two months to complete malolactic fermentation. Aged for 24 months in a combination of new and once-used 225-liter oak barriques, this Barolo develops its complex character. After over two years from harvest and an additional four months of cellar aging, Montaribaldi Borzoni Barolo emerges with a refined profile, showcasing the elegance and depth characteristic of this celebrated Italian wine region.
