Michele Chiarlo's 'La Court' Riserva Nizza DOCG is an exceptional Italian wine, showcasing the Barbera varietal in the prestigious Nizza appellation. Sourced from the La Court estate's highest hill, this vineyard is uniquely fascinating. The terroir, termed "sabbie astiane," consists of clay-limestone marls with marine sedimentary origins, rich in microelements like magnesium. The vines face south, benefiting from full sun exposure at an altitude of 250 meters. The manual harvest ensures optimal grape selection. This Barbera wine exhibits a brilliant ruby-red hue with purple highlights. The aroma is intense and complex, featuring blackberries, sour cherries, rhubarb, and chocolate.
