WINE DESCRIPTION
Margerum M5 is a blend of Rhone varieties hailing from Santa Barbara County, located in California's Central Coast. The wine is predominantly composed of Grenache Noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre, with a touch of Counoise and Cinsault that add freshness and acidity to the wine. Each variety is harvested and vinified separately before being pressed and matured for around 10 months in seasoned French oak barrels to allow the wine to harmonise and homogenise prior to bottling. The resulting wine is well-rounded, full-bodied and spicy with ripe bramble fruit.

On the palate, it offers a harmonious combination of fruit flavors, including blackberry, strawberry, and plum, complemented by hints of black pepper, rosemary, lavender, and smoky undertones. The wine is well-structured with a full body and smooth tannins, leading to a relatively persistent finish.
