WINE DESCRIPTION
Louis Jadot Santenay Clos de Malte Blanc is made Chardonnay grapes grown in the Santenay appellation, which is known for its limestone-rich soils. The grapes are harvested, meticulously sorted and gently pressed to separate the juice from the skins. The wine is fermented in oak barrels, a small proportion of which are new, to create a rounder texture and add notes of sweet spice. After fermentation is complete, the wine is aged for around 15 months in oak barrels before it is bottled ready for release.
