WINE DESCRIPTION
La Ferme du Mont Côtes Capelan Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a rich, full-bodied wine from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in the Rhône Valley of France. This wine is crafted from a classic Southern Rhone blend of Grenache Noir with a touch of Syrah and Mourvedre. All vines are planted on the classic galets (large pebbles) and sandy soils on a northeastern facing terrace. The grapes are harvested separately at peak maturity before being crushed and vinified variety by variety. The wine is matured for a period of around 18 months in a combination of oak barrels and concrete tanks.
