WINE DESCRIPTION
Kokomo Peters Vineyard Chardonnay is a premium wine produced by Kokomo Winery, a renowned winery located in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County, California. The vineyard is planted in West Sebastopol and features a unique combination of well-drained soils and cool climate, which allows the grapes to ripen slowly and develop complex flavors. The winemaking process involves fermentation them in French oak barrels, which imparts a rich and creamy texture to the wine, also amplified by regular lees stirring during the maturation whch takes ca. 11 months. The resulting wine is a beautifully balanced Chardonnay with a medium body and well-integrated oak supported by fresh acidity, typical for cool climate.

This Kokomo Peters Vineyard Chardonnay has a bright yellow hue and aromas of pear and peach with hints of butter and lemon.On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a nice balance of acidity and a creamy texture. The flavors of ripe apple, lemon, and nutmeg are complemented by notes of oak and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long and lingering. This is a good expression of Californian cool climate Chardonnay.
