Kir Yianni's Cuvée Exceptionnelle The Fallen Oak is a remarkable red wine from the Macedonian region of northern Greece. Founded by the Boutari family, who are pioneers in Greek winemaking, the estate specializes in creating world-class wines from indigenous and international grape varieties. The Fallen Oak is a blend of Xinomavro and Syrah, grown in vineyards situated on the slopes of Mount Vermion. The unique microclimate and diverse soil composition add complexity to the grapes. After harvesting, the wine is aged in French oak barrels, giving it an opulent structure and refined flavors.
